Remember I used this a-ma-zing clutch in one of my earlier outfit posts? Well, I borrowed it from my best friend. But guess what, she gave it to me for my birthday! Isn't she the coolest? So I think (I know!) you'll be seeing a lot of it in the upcoming outfit posts.

Today I turned 27 (damn, 30 is getting close...)! So my boyfriend and I made cupcakes and they made me feel all girly and bubbly. They tasted just as good as they look, maybe even better. Yumm!

My best friend when it's cold? My super cheap (got it on sale) fake fur coat. I've had it for 3 years now, but I still like it. The leather jacket was also a very good sale-item. Isn't it a great feeling when you find that perfect item, in the right size, with a tag that says '50% discount'?

Yesterday I went to the opening of an art exhibition by Auke Mulder, who also happens to be my boyfriend's father. Pretty exciting, because the mayor was there as well as 100 of Auke's dearest friends and family. Auke showed us a beautiful abstract-expressionistic series of paintings inspired by the landscape of Norway. If you want to see more of his work, please visit his website.

A few days ago I had a great day with my best friend Sarah. It was freezing cold, but the sun was shining and we had a great time taking these pictures. 

Take a closer look at the necklace I'm wearing.. It's a harmonica and my boyfriend bought it for me. I saw him playing the harmonica the first time we met, so when I saw this necklace I couldn't resist. Love it!
